August is the pinnacle month for Canadian pickleball. The 2026 National Championship brings the top players in the country together for six days of competition on twenty-one courts in the GTA. The 2026 National Championship: Canada's Biggest Pickleball Event

The National Championship represents the pinnacle of competitive pickleball in Canada. Twenty-one indoor courts, six days of competition, and hundreds of players from across the country competing for gold medals and national titles. This is where the summer season reaches its peak. Players who qualified through provincial championships, ranked tournaments, and regional events all converge for the same goal: a national title.

The championship format runs singles, doubles, and mixed doubles across multiple skill levels, ensuring that players of every competitive level have a path to a medal. From 3.0 recreational divisions through the elite PRO categories, the Nationals showcase the full depth of Canadian pickleball talent.

The championship has become the season's defining event. For six days, Pickleplex becomes the unofficial capital of Canadian pickleball.
